CAPACITY BUILDING GRANT

The Capacity Building Grant is designed for a project to be used for a non-profit or education system to build their capacity to serve an emerging or growing need. This grant will be used only in Dodge County for programming that falls inside of UWDC’s stated pillars of impact (Education, Financial Stability, and Personal Safety and Well-Being). These grants will not be used to support operating or on-going expenses of organizations, to pay wages or salaries, to eliminate previously incurred deficits or expenses or for debt retirement, to establish or grow endowment funds, for religious or sectarian purposes, to individuals for personal purposes/expenses, or for lobbying, partisan political purpose or campaigns. Maximum amount of grant is $2500. This grant will reopened upon a formal sustainability restructure plan taking place in 2024.

UNIFYING GRANT

GENEREAUX GRANT

Genereaux grants will be awarded to agencies who enter into a collaborative partnership with UWDC to execute global initiatives of UWDC.  Individual indicators will be required to measure impact.  This grant will be used only in Dodge County for programming that falls inside of UWDC’s stated pillars of impact.  These grants will not be used to eliminate previously incurred deficits or expenses or for debt retirement, to establish or grow endowment funds, for religious or sectarian purposes, to individuals for personal purposes/expenses, or for lobbying, partisan political purpose or campaigns.  Agencies receiving this funding will participate in quarterly cohort meetings to discuss emerging needs and progress on global initiatives and will be encouraged to foster cross-agency collaboration.  Applications will be available April 15, 2023, and due June 1, 2023.  Grants will be issued in the amounts of $5000 and above, and will be required to provide impact reporting.  This grant will be reopened and reassessed upon a formal sustainability restructure plan taking place in 2024.
