United Way of Dodge County Awards $25,000 Grant to YMCA of Beaver Dam

Beaver Dam, WI — United Way of Dodge County is proud to announce a $25,000 grant award to the YMCA of Beaver Dam, reinforcing a shared commitment to strengthening the health, well-being, and overall quality of life for individuals and families throughout Dodge County.

This investment will support the YMCA’s wide range of programs and services that impact residents of all ages. The YMCA of Beaver Dam serves as a vital community hub, offering opportunities that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

“The YMCA plays an essential role in our community by providing programs that support youth, families, and individuals in meaningful ways,” said Tammy Appel, board member for United Way of Dodge County. “We are honored to partner with the YMCA to continue making a positive and lasting impact.”

The YMCA of Beaver Dam provides a variety of services, including:

  • Youth Development Programs: Before- and after-school care, summer day camps, and youth sports leagues that help children build confidence, leadership skills, and healthy habits.

  • Health and Wellness Opportunities: Fitness classes, personal training, aquatics programs, and wellness initiatives designed to promote physical and mental well-being for all ages.

  • Community Support Services: Programs focused on social connection, including senior activities, family engagement opportunities, and financial assistance to ensure accessibility for all community members.

  • Aquatic and Safety Programs: Swim lessons and water safety education that equip individuals with life-saving skills.

  • Inclusive Programming: Opportunities for individuals of all abilities to participate in recreational and educational activities in a welcoming environment.

Through this funding, the YMCA will be able to expand its reach and continue delivering high-quality programs that address critical community needs.
