Programs
At United Way of Dodge County, we believe meaningful change happens when a community comes together around a shared purpose. As a 100% volunteer- and board-run organization with no paid employees, we focus our resources on projects and partnerships that make a direct difference for people throughout Dodge County.
From early childhood literacy and food security to volunteerism and support for local nonprofits, our current projects are focused on creating lasting impact and connecting people with the resources they need.
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
United Way of Dodge County is proud to sponsor Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for families in Ashippun, Beaver Dam, Horicon, Waupun, Byron, Burnett, South Byron, South Beaver Dam, Woodland, Randolph, Theresa, and Rubicon. Through this program, eligible children from birth to age five can receive a FREE, age-appropriate book mailed directly to their home every month.
United Way of Dodge County is also proud to be one of the first Imagination Library partners in Wisconsin to offer the program’s bilingual book option, helping make early literacy more accessible to Spanish-speaking and bilingual families. Together, we’re helping children build home libraries, encouraging quality family reading time, and inspiring a lifelong love of reading.
Volunteer Dodge
Volunteer Dodge is a United Way of Dodge County initiative designed to make volunteering easier and more accessible throughout our community. By connecting individuals, families, businesses, and community groups with local nonprofits and organizations seeking volunteers, we help turn a willingness to serve into meaningful community impact.
Whether you have an hour to give, want to volunteer regularly, or are looking for a group service project, Volunteer Dodge can help you find an opportunity to make a difference. Our goal is to strengthen the culture of volunteerism across Dodge County and connect thousands of volunteer hours with organizations doing important work right here at home.
