United Way of Dodge County Awards More Than $5,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. — United Way of Dodge County is proud to announce a grant award of more than $5,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties to help support the organization's mission of providing safe, affordable housing opportunities for families throughout the region.

The funding reflects United Way of Dodge County's ongoing commitment to strengthening local communities by investing in nonprofit organizations that improve the lives of individuals and families across Dodge County.

Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties partners with hardworking families to build and rehabilitate homes, creating opportunities for homeownership and long-term financial stability. Through volunteer labor, community partnerships, and financial support, Habitat helps families achieve the dream of owning a safe and affordable home while fostering stronger neighborhoods.

In addition to home construction, Habitat for Humanity operates ReStore locations where donated building materials, furniture, appliances, and home improvement items are sold at affordable prices. Revenue generated through the ReStores helps fund future home building projects while promoting sustainability by keeping usable materials out of landfills. Habitat also provides critical home repair programs that allow seniors, veterans, and low-income homeowners to remain safely in their homes.
