United Way of Dodge County Awards More Than $5,000 to Open Door Coffee Shop to Support Counseling and Youth Programs

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. — United Way of Dodge County is proud to announce a grant of more than $5,000 to support the important work of Open Door Coffee Shop in Mayville. The funding will help sustain programs that provide counseling services, after-school tutoring, and a welcoming environment where individuals and families can find encouragement, support, and connection.

Open Door Coffee Shop has become much more than a neighborhood coffee shop. It serves as a safe and welcoming gathering place where community members of all ages can receive support during challenging times. Through counseling services, individuals and families have access to guidance and resources that promote emotional wellness and personal growth.

In addition to counseling, Open Door Coffee Shop offers after-school tutoring programs that provide students with academic assistance, encouragement, and mentorship. These programs help young people build confidence, strengthen their academic skills, and develop positive relationships with caring adults in a safe and supportive environment.
